Mini Embroidery Hoop Wreath Macrame-Inspired Garland

This simple wreath is made with mini wooden embroidery hoops and decorated with paper flowers and yarn.

Today’s crafts combine some of my favorite trend ideas … I’ll show you how to make a cute little hoop garland garland that features a colorful and funky boho “macrame” yarn. I use the term macrame loosely since it’s actually just a hanging rope without all the fancy knots.

Necessary material

Step 1:Remove the inner circle from the embroidery frame. The simple circle is what we will use. Set aside the frame with the metal closure to use it for something else.

Step 2: Cut about twenty pieces of wire that are 8-10 inches long each. Fold them in half and attach them to the frame using a lark’s head knot, as shown in the photo below.

Step 3: Add flowers! I bought a pack of ready-made paper flowers, but you can cut them using your Silhouette machine if you prefer to use this rolled paper flower tutorial.

Use hot glue to attach the flowers to the wreath. For greater visual interest, it is helpful to stack several different sized flowers on top of each other.

The last step is super easy … just string all your mini circle garlands together and hang them! I had to tie a knot on each to keep them evenly spaced and facing the same direction.
