Halloween is around the corner, so today I’m sharing a super easy idea to create Halloween and once again I’m using duct tape. What can I say? I love this stuff!

By making these cute DIY bats out of duck ribbon, they are weatherproof and perfect for outdoor Halloween decoration.
- They can be attached to skewers and then tucked into grass, planters or planters.
- They can be tied together on a string to make a pretty wreath.
- They can be attached to a window or door to create a flying flock of bats.
There are so many possibilities! And unlike paper bats, these withstand any rain or snow that might happen. Yay!
To make your own Duck Tape bats, you will need:
- Duck ribbon (black, orange, fluorescent)
- Little googly eyes
- Hot glue gun + glue stick

Step 2: Tie a knot in the strip of duct tape and keep pulling until the knot is tight and centered.
Step 3: Add the googly eyes to the center knot using small dabs of hot glue.
Step 4: Use a pair of scissors to cut a scalloped bat wing shape on each side of the knot.
