This weekend I attended the Brookings Area Quilters Guild 10th biennial quilt show. I belonged to this guild for several years, but as it is an hour’s drive to attend meetings, I let my membership lapse a year or two ago. So it was great to attend and catch up on the happenings of the members I ran into, view the beautiful quilts, explore the offerings of the various vendors, and attend the luncheon/lecture.
It FINALLY feels like spring is here! Although it’s been really windy here the last week or so, it was warm enough yesterday to get out in the yard and start cleaning up some of the garden beds. A few of my grape hyacinth and crocus are starting to bloom, and the migratory birds are beginning to arrive.
