I’ve been having so much fun lately designing new quilting designs! I love playing with different ideas and seeing what I can create. Usually I start by designing an overall or pantograph quilting design. (If you don’t know what that is, I talk about pantographs here.) Next I take one of the repeats and try and make a border with a corner, some blocks, frames and wreaths, and maybe a triangle. If you’ve missed some of my newer designs, you can view the design sheets for them below. (Click each image to open a larger version.)
Thank you to all who purchased patterns during the Black Friday – Small Business Saturday – Cyber Monday sale. I should have all of the orders out in the next couple of days, and hope you enjoy working on your new projects. I appreciate your support of my small business!
I still have some of these patterns left, and since I’m trying to reduce my inventory of printed patterns (I will continue to offer digital patterns, which you can find on Craftsy or Etsy), I’m going to try something for #Giving Tuesday.
Small Business Saturday
I couldn’t decide which to celebrate, so lets do them all! Now through Monday I’m offering a HUGE savings on quilting patterns. All of my printed quilting patterns are on sale at 50% OFF, now through 11:59pm on Monday, Nov. 27, 2017. That’s right, you can purchase some of my patterns for as low as $3.50 each! Quantities are limited, so don’t delay on selecting your favorites. While you may not have much time for sewing in the next few weeks, we all know the long, dreary days of winter will soon be here, and what better way to perk up those days by starting a new quilting project.
In my last post, I asked which of several feather wreaths you would prefer I include in my First Feathers quilting designs collection. No clear ‘winner’ emerged between hexagon or octagon-shaped wreaths, and many people said ‘both’. So, I took your advice, and my First Feathers collection includes both types of wreaths! And, I’m happy to say, all are now available for purchase from either Intelligent Quilting (digital only) or Legacy Quilting (digital and paper). (The links take you to all my designs on that website. You can type Feather in the search box on that page to narrow the results. Of course I’d love it if you looked at all my designs while you’re there!)
I’ve been busy working on a sewing room cleanout, and finding lots of shop and class samples, longarm templates, DVDs, patterns, etc. that I no longer need or want. And I’ve decided it’s time to whittle down the pile of UFOs as well. I’ve started to list these items on my Facebook page. Perhaps you will find something that needs to come live at your house?
